FCSI® National Council
The FCSI National Council promotes the Fellow and related insights to the financial services industry and the Canadian investing public.
The Council consists of a group of FCSIs who volunteer to sit on the Council for a 2-year term, with the potential to renew for another 2-year term.
Goals
- Assist CSI with shaping the FCSI strategy to ensure continued growth of the Fellow
- Assist CSI with promoting awareness of the FCSI and its role in the industry (to the industry and the investing public)
Directors' Responsibilities
Each Director helps to develop and implement strategies that add value, increase awareness and ensure the continued growth of the FCSI.To ensure that these goals are met, each Director:
- Attends and participates in a minimum of 3 out of 4 regularly scheduled Council meetings
- Serves on Council subcommittees
- Participates in setting annual objectives for the Council, based on membership needs
- Helps establish and implement FCSI awareness campaigns and events
- Contributes to the CSI community to promote awareness of the FCSI (through writing articles, being profiled, submitting testimonials, etc.)
- Is an FCSI in good standing at all times
